Enabling Cloudflare SSL
To enable Cloudflare SSL, you can follow these steps:
- Sign in to your Cloudflare account and select the domain you want to enable SSL for.
- Click the "SSL/TLS" tab and then click the "Overview" tab.
- Under "SSL," select "Flexible" or "Full" depending on your desired level of security. "Full" provides the highest level of security but may not be compatible with all servers and configurations. "Flexible" is more compatible but provides a lower level of security.
- Click the "Save and Deploy" button to apply the changes.
It's important to note that enabling SSL on Cloudflare only encrypts the connection between your visitors and Cloudflare's servers. To fully encrypt the connection between visitors and your own server, you will also need to install an SSL certificate on the WP Engine server. If you don't have an SSL certificate installed, you can follow the instructions in the "Origin Certificate" tab to install one.
