Enabling Cloudflare performance optimization
To enable performance optimization on Cloudflare, you can follow these steps:
- Sign in to your Cloudflare account and select the domain you want to enable performance optimization for.
- Click the "Caching" tab and then click the "Overview" tab.
- Under "Caching Level," select "Standard" or "Aggressive" depending on your desired level of optimization. "Standard" is recommended for most websites, while "Aggressive" may cause some resources to be cached incorrectly and should be used with caution.
- Under "Browser Cache Expiration," you can choose how long the cache should be stored on your visitors' browsers. A longer expiration time will result in faster page load times for repeat visitors, but may cause issues if you update your website frequently and want the changes to be reflected immediately.
- Click the "Save and Deploy" button to apply the changes.
In addition to caching, there are many other performance optimization features available on Cloudflare, such as minification, brotli compression, and image optimization. You can find these features under the "Performance" tab in your Cloudflare account.
