Setting excerpts as meta descriptions

To make sure the excerpt is output as the page meta description in Yoast SEO, you will need to follow these steps:

• In the WordPress dashboard, navigate to the "SEO" menu and click on the "Search Appearance" tab.
• In the "Content Types" section, click on the "Pages" tab.
• Scroll down to the "Meta Data" section.
• Under the "Description" heading, select the "Excerpt" option from the dropdown menu.
• Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the "Save Changes" button to save your settings.

Repeat the steps above for ALL custom post types that have a single page (and as such, need meta descriptions).
