Limit the amount of login attempts

To limit the number of login attempts in Wordfence, you can use the following steps:

  • Log in to your WordPress site as an administrator.
  • Go to "Wordfence" > "Options" in the WordPress dashboard.~~
  • Click the "Advanced Options" tab.
  • Scroll down to the "Login Security" section.
  • In the "Maximum failed logins before lock out" field, enter the desired number of login attempts.
  • Click the "Save Changes" button.

This will limit the number of login attempts to the number you specified. If a user exceeds this number of attempts, their IP address will be locked out for a certain amount of time.
